In step with Mental Health Week, The Den-S.Y.C. (Sundre Youth Centre) is hosting discussions with TEENS ONLY!

• May 10: The Myths of PTSD & How To Prevent It

Bring your questions to Jane Corkish, a certified TIR support (Trauma Incident Reduction). Let’s discuss PTSD how to avoid being crippled by it.

• May 17: How To Help A Greiving Friend

Let’s face it, teens are often ‘front lines’ for friends or family who are sad, come learn some ways to help others who are grieving. Jane is a former coordinator of Child and Teen Berievement Program at Langley Hospice Society

• May 24: Healthy Relationships & Boundaries With Toxic People

Outreach worker from the Mountain View Emergency Shelter will hold this information session and talk to TEENS

• May 31: Just For Parents- Navigating Your Teens Mental Health (Come out and meet some of the resources in your community)
